CWW welcomes Dr. Abeselom Gutta, Emory Humphrey Fellow
Dr. Abeselom Gutta is a current Fellow with the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health.
Dr. Abeselom completed his undergraduate degree in medicine from Bahir Dar University in 2013. He served as a full-time physician and lecturer at Wachemo University (WU). Currently, he is a fellow doctor and postgraduate organizer in the intensive care medicine fellowship (competency-based subspecialty program) at Saint Paul Hospital Millennium Medical College in Addis Ababa.
Dr. Abeselom began working with CWW in January 2024, and will support CWW’s research efforts related to specific implementation research of program activities. He will also research best practices of key data to track the progress of national and global trends on Soil-transmitted Helminth (STH) control effort.
