The Task Force for Global Health is an international nonprofit organization that works to reduce the global burden of diseases by using innovative approaches to strengthen health systems and increase access to medicines and vaccines.
- What We Do
CWW's work is focused on country support, partnerships and advocacy, knowledge management, and technical and scientific collaboration. We convene leaders and forge partnerships among key members of the STH control community through our management of the Secretariats for the STH Coalition and the STH Advisory Committee.
- Why It Matters
Providing treatment and reducing the risk of soil-transmitted helminthiasis (STH) infection is vitally important to the more than 1 billion people infected with intestinal worms. STH is among the most common infections worldwide. It is a disease of poverty, affecting the poorest and most vulnerable people on earth and preventing them from reaching their full potential.
- Who We Are
Partnership and collaboration have been key tenets for CWW since its inception in 2006. Those tenets are best personified by our team of compassionate, committed staff members. Get to know us better and get in touch if you have any questions about our work.
